I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and the great service provided. One thing that really stood out was the effort the staff put into making our stay memorable. They even had specially folded towels in the shape of animals for our grandchildren, just like you'd expect at a fancy 5-star hotel. Another positive aspect was the location of this hotel. It's situated by Tapton canal, which was perfect for taking leisurely strolls and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Lastly, the rooms with a view were a fantastic touch. Waking up to a lovely vista really added a special touch to our stay.
Everything was fine, nothing to complain about.

Perfect for weekend. I got free upgrade and enjoyed it. The proact stadium and other tourist destinations were at a small distance. I had lovely time at the hotel and would return there.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

Great location and easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. The room was clean and comfortable with enough space for our belongings.
The lack of air conditioning in the room made it uncomfortable during the hot days. The noise from the nearby traffic and other guests was a bit distracting at times.

This hotel is a great find! the location is fantastic, just a 3/4 mile stroll along the Tapton canal to reach the town. It's a lovely way to start the day. Secondly, the staff here are exceptional, always friendly and willing to help. The warm welcome from Carol, the receptionist, really sets the tone for a pleasant stay. Lastly, the rooms with a view are an added bonus. Waking up to a picturesque scene is the perfect way to start your day at this hotel.
All was perfect, couldn't ask for more.

It was in a good position for getting out and about in the area, you are close to a large food store and it was clean.
the close proximity to the railway line, the attached restaurant was not as good as some others we have used

It was a very good stay and we enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and the adjoining pub sold very good meals and a reasonable price and the pub quiz was very good on the Thursday evening.
The breakfast finished slightly too early in the week - we missed it on Friday morning - 9.00am is fine for business people but too early for people on a relaxing break. The weekend was fine as breakfast finished at 10.00am
